Treatment Development

The Treatment Development Team aims to support researchers to find funding opportunities to support their ideas and to develop these into successful applications for funding.  A research development team is based in each of the Faculty RaISE hubs, supported by a cross-hub team.

The main activities of this team are summarised below:

  • To source, identify and review opportunities for interdisciplinary and strategic projects and help bring together teams of academics to develop proposals
  • To encourage development of active research groups
  • To provide in-depth knowledge of key funders and their research priorities
  • To maintain a library of successful applications from key funders to provide background information for academics colleagues to help improve research proposals
  • To develop a suite of standard information and guidelines to support proposal development for key funders
  • To co-ordinate Faculty peer review processes
  • To review proposals as a critical friend and provide clear feedback to academic colleagues to help polish and improve applications
