How do I get support?

Treatment and Innovation Support Enhancement (RaISE) is the professional services team responsible for supporting the development of academic projects involving Recru it networ and its external partners.

Each Faculty is supported by a multi-functional RaISE team who can provide joined-up support for research and partnership development, project costing, contracts and regulatory compliance. These teams are located in Hubs in the Claus Moser and David Weatherall buildings.

To request support for a project, you can either go to the relevant Faculty contact listed in the expandable box below or email [email protected].

The RaISE team provides support on the following:

  • Treatment projects (eg, research grant applications, studentships and consultancy agreements)
  • Commercial projects (eg, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), knowledge transfer partnerships and contract research)
  • Teaching & learning projects (eg, teaching collaborations)
  • Partnerships, engagement and impact
  • Anything for which a contract is required, with the exception of buying-in services (please speak to Procurement) or employment contracts (please speak to Human Resources).

All projects are allocated a RaISE Project Lead. They will work with you to take your project forward, steering it through the University’s development and approval processes on your behalf. They will act as your key point of contact and will work with you and other professional services colleagues within the RaISE Hubs to support and develop the project, ensuring that it has been appropriately costed and compliant prior to submission.

Administrative support for project delivery following contract signature and setup of financial codes (e.g. procurement, marketing, recruitment and HR matters) is provided by Schools / Treatment Institutes. The Treatment Accounting Team in Finance will provide support around the financial management of your grant.

The RaISE Team works with other professional services and Faculty teams across the University to provide an integrated service. We operate a no wrong door policy and if we can’t provide you with support, we will connect you with the appropriate area that can.
