Andrew Robertson Postgraduate Travel Bursary

This bursary is awarded in memory of Andrew Robertson, a Keele graduate. It is available to postgraduate research students to make it possible for them to attend international conferences to give papers, to participate in poster displays, to undertake research trips or pieces of fieldwork, or similar activities. The bursary is awarded to members of Andrew Robertson's department: Psychology and Computer Science. Applications are invited annually and should be made to the Andrew Robertson Travel Bursary Committee via the Department of Psychology. Applications must provide a letter of support from their supervisor and documentation supporting all costs claimed. Awards are made at the discretion of the Andrew Robertson Travel Bursary Committee and if, in any year, the Committee feels it is not appropriate to make an award, the interest will be added to the capital sum.

BPS Undergraduate Award (Best Overall Undergraduate Student Award)

Award type: A copy of the BPS book of the year, a certificate, and one years free membership of the society

Amount: n/a

This prize is awarded to the student that has the highest Psychology aggregate over level 2 and level 3.

This prize will be listed on the HEAR, and will be announced at graduation.

 

Hannah McAllister Award

Award type: Cheque

Amount: £300

This prize is a memorial to Hannah McAllister, a former student at Keele, who studied Human Resource Management with Psychology. This prize is to be awarded annually to two students, one studying Psychology and one studying Human Resource Management who have demonstrated outstanding academic excellence, together with outstanding personal achievement/contribution to the university.

This prize will be listed on the HEAR, and will be announced at graduation.

 

James Hartley Prize for the Best 3rd Year Project

Award type: Book token

Amount: £50

This prize is made to the student who receives the highest mark for the Psychology final year project module.

This prize will be listed on the HEAR, and will be announced at graduation.

 

John Sloboda Interdisciplinary Award

Award type: Book token

Amount: £50

This awarded is given to a Psychology finalist with the highest overall aggregate mark over their second and third year in both of their dual honours disciplines. 

This prize will be listed on the HEAR, and will be announced at graduation.

 

MSc Psychology Programmes Highest Achievement Award

Award type: Cheque

Amount: £100

This prize is awarded annually to the student who achieves the highest overall grade across any of the MSc Psychology programmes. If more than one student shares the highest overall grade then the prize will be shared by all students achieving the highest overall grade and the reward amount will be shared between all recipients.
