Keele accepts students with school-leaving qualifications from many overseas countries for entry to undergraduate (bachelor) degree courses.

The actual grades you require in particular subjects will vary according to the degree course you wish to study.  You will also require an English language qualification.

If you do not meet the requirements for direct entry into Year 1 of our undergraduate (bachelor) degree courses you can apply for a place on our Foundation Year or .

Foundation Undergraduate Year 1 Undergraduate Year 1 English Requirements
Applicants with overall D grade or above can be considered. For Ontario- High School Diploma with average of 75% to include 6 Grade 12 U, U/C or M courses including grade 12 U English Language. For British Columbia or Alberta - award of Senior School Graduation Diploma with BBBBB overall. For Quebec, accept Diplome d'Etudes Collegiales with average score of between 70-75%. Postgraduate 2.2 Postgraduate 2.1 Postgraduate Courses English Requirements
Bachelor degree (honours or non-honours acceptable). For 2:2- B/GPA 3.0/73% (can accept slightly lower) Bachelor degree (honours or non-honours acceptable). 2:1- B+/GPA3.3/77%. Additional English Language qualifications required for applicants from Quebec 
Foundation Undergraduate Year 1 Undergraduate Year 1 English Requirements
2 APs at grade 3  OR        2 SAT Subject Tests (SAT II) at 500 each OR a combination of SAT Subject Tests plus AP's (totalling 2) OR ACT 21. 3 APs at grade 4  or 544  OR  3 SAT Subject Tests (SAT II) at 600 each  OR  a combination of SAT Subject Tests plus AP's (totalling 3)    OR for courses with no subject specific requirements ACT 28 English at grade 12 as part of HSGD at 3.0 or above or SAT I  (SAT Reasoning Test) Evidence Based Reading and Writing at 560.

 

Postgraduate 2.2 Postgraduate 2.1 Postgraduate Courses English Requirements
A Bachelor degree from a recognised institution with GPA 3.0 out of 4.0 A Bachelor degree from a recognised institution with GPA 3.3 out of 4.0  Need English as part of HSGD at 3.0 or above or SAT I  (SAT Reasoning Test) English at 500 or above

Recru it networ accepts applications through The Common Application, provided that:

  • You are liable to pay tuition fees at the Overseas rate;
  • You are not applying via the UCAS system.

If you fulfil these criteria, you may apply through the Common Application website at www.commonapp.org . 

Please note that we do not accept applications for Medicine through the Common Application.
